I was so thrilled to film this panel with my editor at Legendary Comics, Nikita Kannekanti, and fellow Legendary YA authors Kelly Zekas (Championess), Tarun Shanker (Championess), and Mickey George (The Heart Hunter), showcasing some of the recent and upcoming releases. I loved talking about Tragic, my Hamlet retelling heading to shelves in Fall 2022, and hearing more about Championess and The Heart Hunter (out now!)

I'll be at the 2018 Rochester Teen Book Festival in Rochester, NY with a ton of other great authors!
Details and schedule to come!
Over the past ten years, the Greater Rochester Teen Book Festival has been an opportunity for public and school librarians to dedicate an event solely to teens, to encourage reading some of the best titles aimed at young adults, and to offer a place where readers can interact with award-winning authors. The Teen Book Fest demonstrates the value of teens within our literary communities and focuses attention on the authors who write for them.
The closing event of the NYC Teen Author Festival will be a huge book signing at Books of Wonder with over 50 authors signing. I'll be there from 2:30-3!

Part of an author Q & A I participated in was filmed for an Emmy award-winning local TV show, and I was even quoted briefly in the final cut! It's amazing to see the hard work these 8th graders put in to complete the NaNoWriMo challenge--something many adults don't do. Many thanks to Kristy Shurina at Bridgewater Raritan for putting this wonderful learning experience together for the young authors.
